I have the Vance and Hines on mine. They sound great when on the throttle, but aren't obnoxious when cruising and idle. The looks and performance are great too.

I love that 18" rear wheel on the F's.  So much better than my 16 on the C.  :-\

Everytime I see these pipes (Cobra Angled Slashcut), I wish they made them for the 1300.

Seems like the pipe of choice for 1800 owners is the V&H BigShots, though.  Have you heard something about Cobra that you didn't like?

I have heard that the chrome is not so great and the performance gains aren't as high. But the key word there is "heard".

I have the Jardines and they have a lower rumble than the Vance and Hines.   I get lots of compliments on the tone. 8) 8)

You might try www.vtcexhaust.com these guys take stock exhaust and modify for a fraction of the price.  I guess it depends on if you like the stock look or want something different, but have heard lots of good stuff about this.  You can read some of the Posts about them on their web site or at vtxoa.com
