Strange occurrence

Been around VTX for a while and have NEVER seen or heard of this!
Started the bike and went into the house, when I returned I heard what I thought was a hissing sound, then I thought it might be the starter was still engaged.
Turned the bike off removed the key and the bike was still running!! I had to put it in gear and hold the break to kill it, started it up again and all was well, has not did it again since.
Anyone ever even hear of something like this??

I have heard of this before with the VTX's but I never heard the final result of what causes it.

Low battery and sticking selanoid,  so new battery and selanoid should do the trick!
