I am still trying to track down the special tool for the fork springs.  If I can't find one, I will just change out the Final drive and the rear shock bushings so all is not lost.

Sounds like a plan, tool for 1800 fork springs anyone?

I'm in with a fairing installation, and maybe changing the fluid in the final drive. What fluid do you recommend?

Well the stealer has the Fork Spring Tool, but they want 60 + tax...so I asked the guy at the shipyard if they can make one for mucho mo cheaper..he seems to think he can.
I will buy some fork oil just in case..also need final drive oil.
