  On my way down to Bandera I kinda noticed a slight oil film on my bike
and thought oh yeah the road has it on it and it throwing it up. Well guess
what?? I road my VTX all weekend with a blown Fork boot. The way I found out is just today
I had time to clean the bike really good and noticed that on the bottom of the rim on the
right had a slight build up of oil.
All I can say it takes a lickin and keeps on tickin.
New forks seals on order asap!!

I busted one at BBT too, I just need to find time to do it.  I already have the seals and tools, just need a rainy Saturday morning to knock it out.

Thank goodness none you blew a seal.  They are kinda hard to find in the Hill Country.

It's not that far from Bandera to Sea World in San Antonio, they have plenty of seals there.

Ha...yeah, that left rear has been blown for around 8 years maybe?  That thing leaks FOREVER.  Progressive 440's.

As for fork seals, I just replaced my...4th I believe?  It was leaking since Sept of '13 in California and I replaced it at the end of last month.  Front end feels like a new bike.

My Progessive rears have been blown I know for 4 years and just act as springs only. I need to get off my butt and change them back to the stock. Never spending money on Progressive shocks again. FACT!!!
