Wow what a difference in my VTX 1800 Retro a few mods made
« on: April 23, 2006, 09:15:12 AM »

I've had my '03  VTX 1800R for about a year now. I brought it in South Haven, MS. from Desoto Honda brand new. I drove it from Little Rock, AR to San Antonio. The bike is great...and was very quite. I thought about increasing the horse power although it wasn't slow to begin with. After doing research on the net and talking with a few buddies, I decided to have installed the Hard Chrome 2-into-1 side burner exhaust system, K&N air filter and the TriPod fuel processor. I noticed the difference right away when driving my bike back from Joe Harrison's shop. They did an excellent job by the way. That weekend, I rode with the TOROS M/C up to Frio Canyon in Leaky, TX. Wow..the cycle was very strong going up those steep hills and the rumbling sound, it is a much different bike.  :)
