I am awaiting arrival of my HK Sideburners and K&N filter (am waiting on the PC III and dyno tune after reading Tapper's thread). I was just trying to figure out what all I could incorporate during my bikes downtime. I figured if so many had done this I might as well do it also. Not expecting any increase in power, just looking to minimize some decel popping if possible.

To be honest, it will not reduce the decel poping if that is all you are looking for. Only a good PC map if you have a 1800 will take care of that.

I have an '05 F model, it never did backfire on decel. I did the pair valve removal, installed a PCIII & Bub Jug Huggers & still no backfire, I have heard other bikes with that isssue even with stock pipes, I may have got lucky, dunno.
