I'll be there!   8)  The track opens at 5pm, and I will be there as close to 5 as possible.  The earlier you get there, the more runs you can make.  As the night goes on, it gets busier.  Last time I went, I showed up after 7pm and only made about 3 or 4 passes that night.  It was $15 to run, but the website now shows $20, so bring your cash.  If you're just coming to watch, I believe it's $10.  They have a snack bar and fuel pumps onsite, in case you need either.

If you want to run, you'll need the following gear:

1.  Full-face helmet
2.  Full leather gloves
3.  Full leather jacket
4.  Boots that go up over your ankles
5.  Jeans

When you go through the gates, they will ask you if you are running or spectating.  If you are running, as soon as you go through the gates, proceed to your left and you will go over to a couple of guys to register your bike.  They will put a number on your headlight using shoepolish (make sure they only put it on your headlight lamp, not the chrome!  :o  If you are spectating, proceed over to the bleachers.  We normally all park under the first set of bleachers closest to the front entrance.  Then find a seat and watch the butt whoopin' take place!  ;)

If you are on a bike that can exceed 120mph (I think) in the 1/4-mile, then you have to wear full leathers...period!  Since I'm the only one that can do this, I'll have my full leathers on!  O0

Doesn't her work know that Christmas is on the 25th...not the 14th?  :P

Nope..."You run what you brung!"

I get a kick out of being in the stands, and all of a sudden Jim Bob and Earl get up and go get their diesel trucks and go get in line to run!  They have all kinds of stuff running down the track...even some "real" dragsters.  It's alot of fun to watch, too.
