Our blessed Father, we turn to You in times of deep concern and trouble and we know You are always there and that You do hear us when we call out. Though we do not always understand Your ways, we seek to know and be in Your will. We thank You for the healing touch and peace You have bestowed on us in times past and for the protection, grace and mercy that we enjoy even this moment. Please, Father, as You know our hearts at this time, they are heavy with sorrow and caring for Tom as he is experiencing the trauma of his injuries and his family the uncertainty of what is yet to come. It is with that in mind, dear God, Whom we acknowledge as the one true and great Physician, that we ask for Your healing touch for Tom and peace of mind for his family and friends. It is in the most precious name of Jesus that we ask these things, amen.
