"Live From Colorado"
« on: July 02, 2006, 07:06:50 PM »

Found access to a computer here in motel so thought I'd just give a little rundown of the Coloradical.  RD, Kenny (VTreX), Pete (Rock n Roll) and I made it here Friday about noon after riding 700 miles on Thursday.  Had great weather til we got here.  Rained a little bit on Saturday and a lot today.  Still got to ride and the views are awesome.  I know many of you have been here and already done it, but for those of you that haven't, you need to do this sometime.  We're having a great time.  Will tell more about it when we get home.

P.S.
Maybe it would be best if you weren't riding when you take pics.  I am guilty of picture taking on the roll ask Pete if you need the details.   My avatar is one of them!

Ride safe!  Can't wait to see the pictures.  Regarding the butt buster seat, I've seen RDs bike but don't remember that mod.  Is that the one from Brokeback Mounting Co?   ::)

Ride safe...

700 miles in one day is pretty extreme, even in a cage.

I'll have to learn more about your Colorado event.. try to make it one day.

I'm sure all agree, can't wait to see your pics.

Thank you for posting the link, Dusty!

Man... all those views give me wanderlust, bad!  And here I am, sitting, waiting for my N to come in  :'(

When's the next Coloradical event?  And how, where do I sign up?

Thanks again,
Lennie

They have it every year on the fourth or the closest weekend to it.
Here's the Colorado board address.  http://www.coloradovtxriders.org/
Watch that and the VTXOA ride board, they will post something about it around Jan. probably if thay are going to do it again in 2007.
