Well, since we don't seem to be able to get anything going for the M&G I desided to take the initiative and do a list of places that we will be going for the next 3 weeks...

next week we will be going to to Willies in Pasadena... we have had a good amount of people show up at this location... 

for 4/18/07 we are going Freebirds on 1960...  the food is good, plenty of parking for the bikes and location is good

and last but not least on 4/25/07 we are going to Chachos (my favorite place)... now if you don't like the suggestions... well  too bad

We need to get it going...  maybe we should apoint one person to make this desitions for the group and if anyone would like to suggest a place, they can PM this person so that he/she can post it.    All in favor say "I"  all against it... keep your fingers away from the key board...

They all sound like good places to me. But you know someone will suggest somewhere the day before the M&G.....

You need to post or remind us every other day on the suggested locations.

I like the suggestions, But I would like to suggest switching the first and 2nd dates since I will be off next week I would rather go further.  Sucka

I have an idea that I hope I can elucidate adequately for you all to understand on this subject. If you don't like it then just ignore it but hopefully it will stir some useful discussions. Here goes.

Why not make a list of all the places you all have used in the past few months covering the various quadrants of the geographical area of a map that you'd want to go back to again. List the names by the order of the x-number of quadrants you want to use to select from with x-number representing N, S, E, and W or even better yet N, NE, NW, S, SE, SW, E, and W. Now place the names of the establishments that fall within those quadrants by the designated quadrant making sure all the quadrants have a representation if at all possible.

Place as many establishments in each quadrant as you want to draw from, so long as each quadrant is fairly represented to make sure as many as possible involved has a fair chance to participate. Place the name of each establishment into a hat that represents the particular quadrant represented (i.e. 1 for the N quad, 1 for the E quad, 1 for the SW quad and so on) and draw one for each quadrant. Then take a calendar and decided on a period to use for this method such as a 3 month period starting with April 18 and ending say July 18. That three months will contain about 12-13 Wednesdays and at the end of this period adjustments could then be made to the list of establishments being used, to add to or to remove from the current list.

Then decide on a rotation method starting with say as an example the North and then next week it would be the South or Northeast or West or whatever and then rotate onto the next and the next until all the quadrants have been covered and then start over until all the 12-13 weeks have been covered in advance. Print out the calendar and pass it out at each meet, email it to anyone asking about the M&G locations and put up one here so everyone will know in advance where the next meet will be. Takes all the indecision, bickering and last minute decision out of the equation.

I only offer this method as an idea or as a starting point to come up with a way to resolve this issue of last minute pressure to come up with a decision everyone hopes will please as many involved as possible and hopefully improve turn out and encourage greater participation with less fuss and muss. Cant we just all get along.  Name some places that you can pull tables together, some place you can park and some place you can talk.  Has to be some kind of criteria for a motorcycle gang to get together in. 

Anyone ever been to The Hawg Stop off of Sheldon Road.  Not my side of town but its close to work.  On the river from what I hear, good food and they cater to bikes.  Just an idea.............ill get an address

Gabe, thanks.  Some of us will need directions or we'll never find ya.  Freebirds I've been to.  Willies in Pasadena and Chachos--no idea.  Just a suggestion.
