mine is just the stock black...everything on there is stock...I did get some holes drilled out in the mufflers to give it a little more rumble until I can get some new slip-ons put on there.  I live just south of Terrell but am always up for riding up somewhere to meet up with some great folks and take a nice ride somewhere.

Howdy ya'll...name is David and I have a 2005 VTX 1300c...got it for Christmas and have put well over a thousand miles on it myself in a months time...would love to meet some of you and go ride...new to motorcycles but have already gotten my license and took a motorcycle safety course...very psyched about being a "x" owner and rider and would love to customize my bike in time...not a mechanic by any means so would probably need quite a bit of help...look forward to any response to this post.

Dave in Scurry

p.s.  The guy I bought the bike from bought a new HD ultraglide in December and has been in the shop already more than he has had it on the road.  I mess with him quite a bit and he regrets I think getting rid of the Honda...his loss my gain!!!  Good chuckle for those who may think it's funny!

Hey David, welcome to the Texas X Riders board!!  You did really good with your VTX purchase..  O0 O0   Similar to your friend that you bought your new "X" from, I too used to own a Harley (Fat Boy), and I can say without hesitation that my "X" is a much more fun machine to ride, and defintely much more reliable!!  As you said.....  His loss was your Gain!!!   O0 O0 O0   Looking forward to meeting you on a ride one day....
