This will be open to all including my ride group. I propose we do a M&G on Friday at Long Board Pool Bar on 17th and Seawall. "The Spot" is overrun with clubs so I don't even go anywhere near there anymore. I also propose that we do it around lunch time and not in the evening. Anyone interested?

If I can make the whole rally I'm down. The meet & greets at The Spot died long ago but I'm up for restarting it elsewhere.

I think having it around lunch is a good idea. That way I don't have to go there twice . If I go, it's just a ride in for the day.

When we get closer to the date I will set up a FB Event for it and share on the TXR page as well as this site. Should we do Saturday instead of Friday? I think day trippers will be more likely to be in on Saturday.

As far as making time for a meet & greet, Saturday will always be a better option however historically the weekend makes it harder to get around and find places to actually meet & greet. With that said though perhaps a new place will yield better results. I think in the early days a lot of TXR members would stay the whole weekend which made doing it Friday evening at The Spot a good location.

This place is big and not usually overcrowded. It's down by 17th and Seawall so on the other side of the crowds. I am not married to the location, just been there before and there was hardly anyone there during the day.

Been there and eaten there before. I have been during the rally and your right it's usually not that busy.

It wasn't because the food or service either. Just a good location to avoid tons of biker traffic which i am sure isn't good for business. We'll help them.

I have a FB even set up for Saturday. I am trying to figure out how to make it shareable. I may need to log on on an actual computer instead of using the phone, more options there.

I am doing a meet and greet. It's not exclusive to TXR members.

After this I am going to Woody's to see a band so if you can't make it by 3:00 we'll see you around the rally.

It's not packed like"The Spot" so we can actually get service.

Looks like they are saying the weather is gonna pretty decent. I'm looking forward to it even though it's gonna be short.

REMEMBER: Saturday from 1-3 at the Longboard Pool Bar on the seawall. Meet some new folks and see some old friends!!

We should be there. I'm just going to leave Saturday morning around 8 a.m. and ride in and out one day. Once I drop Ruthy off Sunday I'll ride back Sunday and probably meet up with you guys for those afternoon concerts.

was working at the dog track in LaMarque would have went over but had to get back to Cypress to feed daughters dogs as they were out of town ARRRGGG.
