The Mrs. and I are in!!!

Hey Lucky,

Can we come by in the morning and run with your group? One problem, my better-half says she has to be allowed to help in the kitchen. Will that be OK?

A nearly perfect day of riding and eating and meeting people. We evidently just missed the RAIN at our house this afternoon. Anyway, I've posted the pictures I took (after THE EDITOR approved them) in my gallery under some original name like I don't know umm Quad City Meet and Greet or something like that.

I don't care what other people think. They don't do it very often!
Of Course it's dirty. It's hard to clean when the tires keep moving.

it was great seeing everyone!

I guess i missed the KSU for the Houston bound group.  I stepped into the bathroom, and in the middle of taking care of business, I heard everyone take off!  :stickpoke:  I did see DavidJ when he turned onto hwy 6.

Sorry 'bout that Isorg. I do not how we could have missed you!

That was a great day and a great ride. We really enjoyed meeting everyone.

However, The better-half and I had our best meal of the day first thing this morning. Many thanks to Lucky and her lover for making us welcome in their home to start the day. Great food cooked by great people! Having your trained hummingbird show up on on cue during breakfast was a very nice touch.

Only one bad thing happened ALL day. Wayne showed my wife that a man can wash dishes :ohwow:. I've had a good thing going for 35 years and you messed it up in five minutes.

Just got home around 9:46 p.m..  Stopped in Brenham for the Hot nights Cool tunes fest going on right now.  All in all, it was a great day and was glad that that many folks showed up.  A real big thanks to all those who rode 300 plus miles to get there.  Food was good, ride was good, company was better.  We'll see you soon.
