I may not make this I found out we may be relocating in June so I need to save as much as I can between now and July.

That's a bummer!  Phone all goes well with the relocation.

Dont know about anyone else, but we did the Twisted Sisters a couple/few weeks ago and stayed at the Bandera Lodge Motel. Not great but clean and decent pool.  What other "groups" have committed to this event?

Groups?  Mainly just us Texas X Riders. Some of us have committed 11 years to the BBT. I've only been  around for 6 years. We try to encourage anyone to attend.

Make it out and you'll have a good time.  :bikerider:

I hope to ride in for the first day and meet a few of the forum members, unfortunately I work the rest of the days and have too little vacation to use that much at the beginning of the year. Is there a central spot that everyone is going to meet at and hangout?

Thursday evening we usually will have a Meet & Greet spot (TBD) and I imagine it will be right in town.

Now that it's after January 1, The Riverfront Motel is taking reservations for 2014.

Make your reservations early here as this place tends to fill up during the riding season.

Hi Guys, I have been corresponding with Gumbo about attending this year's rally. I have been lurking on here gathering info to pass along. I am trying to get a few guys together, so far it is my wife and I and another possibly two other couples who rides Goldwings.  We will be in RV's, I will be pulling by bike behind my 5th wheel and the other two have toyhaulers. As Gumbo mentioned in an earlier post, I have a 5 gallon Jambalya Pot that I will be bringing to cook up a Jambalya. My wife will be making our reservations this week, is there a certain area she needs to ask for or just have her mention the TexasXriders and they will put us with you guys?

Welcome Mulla.

My husband and I have made our reservations for our RV already at Pioneer River Resort.  If you are planning on staying at the same place then here is info for you:

Linda Randall at Pioneer River Resort (866)371-3751 requested WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR RV RESERVATION, MAKE SURE AND MENTION TX X RIDERS so we can get grouped close together.  Unfortunately the tent campers are in another area.
