Yeehaw! Back in Texas!

7 years in Napa, CA and 1.5 in Philly... Now, I'm back home where I belong. Back in '04-'05 when I bought my X, I rode a few times with you folks and am hoping to do more of the same. I just put her in the shop to replace tires and fix some quirks that came from her sitting while I was in Philly (planned to ship her up last Spring, but Murphy has a way of hindering plans).
I'll be ready very soon for a ride or 3. I googled the Big Texas Toy Ride last night and was sick when I saw that it's being run today. I'm not ready! I'll catch it next year I guess. Anyway, I wanted to re-introduce myself (doubt anyone would remember me) and offer another pair of wheels to any upcoming rides.
Hope to see you all soon,
Stranded

Stranded, glad to hear that you are now able to get back to riding. Look forward to possibly riding with you in the near future.

I've been digging around a little looking for future rides, but don't see much. Is there a schedule posted that I have missed? Or is there a standing location that we tend to meet weekly/bi-weekly?
My X will be ready tomorrow and I can't wait to get on the road. Gawd I hated Philly! Especially without my bike for all those months.

The only regularly scheduled meets are in Houston on Wednesday nights. All other rides are at the whim of whoever wants to set it up. Feel free to schedule one and post it on the forum.
