Another new guy
« on: August 16, 2007, 11:06:03 AM »

This is my first post, but I've been lurking for a while.  I just figured it was time officially join in.

I have an '06 1300C with HK's, rejetted, Xtreme Revolutions Airbox, new pegs & grips, and a few chromey things.  I am waiting on my 240 kit from Viking which should be showing up any day now.

I look forward meeting and riding with more of you!

I live in McKinney but I was born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia.  I moved to Texas in '03 from Cleveland, OH (I move a lot).

I ride with a bunch a guys from up this way who all have Shadow 750's, but I look forward to meeting other x'ers.

While you're at it are ya gonna side mount the plate and clean up the Cranberries end?  Welcome man!  Hope to see you around.  like SilverTribal says, come out to Dukes in Bedford if the bike is back together 8/26.  Well come out if it isn't if you want.  LOL

I got the kit from Viking because they were the only ones that would put the Xtreme Revolutions metal rear fender with the kit.  I am planning to cut up the rear fender so I wanted a metal fender not fiberglass (a little easier to work with) .  I got the 11" progressive rear shocks and 1" progressive lowering springs on the front, side mount license plate, silver bullet front and rear turn signals, and I'm sure I'm leaving something out.

The plan is to get all the tins and swingarm powdercoated silver and the wheels black.  I still haven't decided what to do with the front forks but that can wait.  Klock Werks did a bike with that color scheme and loved the look ever since.

I got a quote for $350 for everything powder coated "Camaro Silver" from Crosslink Powder Coat of McKinney.  I buddy of mine got his bike done there and they did a good job.  The $350 includes media blasting all the parts and powdercoating.  X-aholic if ur guy could do better on the price I would be much obliged :)  Thanks, bro
