Well, it finally happened to me.
I always ride my bike to work everyday - damn the heat.
On 7/12 on my way home after work - it happened.
Some dumb Cranberries little 16 year old punk kid pulled out in front of me. Making a left turn right in front of me.
Totoally fu--ed up my right knee - spent almost two weeks in the hospital.
Now just have to wait to heal so I get back out riding again.
Still haven't seen my bike yet.
-
Bummer, hate to hear it, two weeks :ohwow: that sucks
-
Hope you have a speedy recovery and the idiot cagers around HOuston seem to be getting worse.
-
Glad you did not get hurt more seriously. The bike can be replaced!
-
Wow, sorry to hear that. Heal fast. Hope the kid had insurance...
-
Bummer sorry to hear that.
What did the kid get?
-
Glad you're ok. The kid was probably texting. Hopefully, they'll check his phone records.

Pokins, that SUCKS...sorry to hear that you have been laid up...just glad you didn't get hurt worse. Look at the bright side: now that you have have joint/bone damage you will be able to predict future rainy weather - probably more accurately then the weathermen, LOL
-
Thanks everyone
The kid did not get a citation at all - this pisses me off.
talking to a lawyer
