Yes we did indeed get hammered yesterday.
I got seven inches at my house in about a 3 hour period.
I was driving home from Beaumont about 7:00 and the further North I went the worse it got.
I have lived here 25 years and last night I saw water over roads that I have never seen it over and I saw water flowing the opposite direction over the road in places where I normally see it when it floods.

It was wild. It was raining so hard at times you couldn't see squat. I saw two cars that I guess the people thought they were at their turn and went nose first into the ditch.

Note to self......crawfish to Spring Thing. Got it.  ;)

Yeah, things got quite interesting last night.  Was in Mauriceville when it all hit, and needed a pedestrian to reference the road-sides and driveways.  Yards are now water-front property along hwy. 62
