Got it to a bit above 115 on a good day one time. May have done a bit more but ran out of road. Probably the windshield and all that extra weight from a plastic comb I had in my LardAss jeans held the speed down considerably.
Yeah, so this topic won't go anywhere till we get 3-4 bikes and radar them. Until then here's a picture of Jennifer Connelly.
Whenever I've been out to the 1/4-mile track, every time I go through the trap, my speedo says around 105...but the time slip says 95.I've had it pegged out when I was CATCHING UP TO Becca!!
I believe my best run ever was 13.69, and no other 1300 has beaten that time that I've run against. There's one crazy Costa Rican on this board that beat me down the track a couple of times, but I whooped his shiney hiney down there once...and his times were still slower. The 1800s that have run out there are getting around the 12.6 range, so we 1300 riders are only slower by about a second...at least I AM!!There's an 1/8-mile track that I'd love to get on & race an 1800...the time difference would not be as big as on the 1/4-mile times. Shoot, if I caught 'em sleeping at the light, I might actually take 'em. Oh Becca...where are you?
12.49 is my best time as of the last time we ran. Jeremy ran a 12.2something. I think 12.25. It's somewhere on this board. He doesn't weigh much so he gets full potential out of the bike. Mine just has pipes, no power commander. Jeremy has a huge intake and pipes, but no power commander that I know of.Those were both 1800's though.
