Our next group ride, (Sept. 8th, Sat.) or (Sept. 9th, Sun.).

Hey everyone, Monte is working on a new route for all of us X'ers on our next group ride!  We are still not sure if we are gonna do it on Saturday or Sunday.  The poll will determine that based on your votes.  We had such an awesome turnout last weekend, we're hoping the same happens on our next ride..!!!  O0 O0  I'm pretty sure based on the route that Monte is working on, it will not be as long as this past Sundays was, (the last hour was a Buck Rogers cause of the heat).  So stay tuned for updates....

I am in if its on Sunday.

Going on a benefit ride on Saturday.
There will be a charity ride for Flower Mound Motor Officer Schmidt. He was injured while On-Duty riding his Police Motor and is still in the hospital.

Right now, both Saturday and Sunday are looking like I have to go into work.  Missed last week's ride, same reason.  Will do if I can.

Saturday would be great! I agree about recouping on Sunday. Last ride was great and enjoyed meeting everyone!  O0 Keep us up on the route and we'll be lookin' forward to it!!

Priliminary route:
Start Bass pro.
From grapevine to The Colony north to 380 west to 377 north to Tioga then west to Forestburg. Turn north to St. Jo. In St Jo there is Chisolm Trail Merchantile (biker appearal shop )and possibly lunch.
After lunch from St.Jo to Montauge to Slidel down to Krum.
South to Justin then east to Bartonville and back to Grapevine and Wilhoites for a beer or three.
The route is just a bit over 200 miles.
I mentioned this is preliminary route since I still have to ride this and scope out lunch and fuel stops.
So there it is, any input let me know.

Monte, I mapped out the route, and it looks sweet.  Can't wait to ride it....
