Wayne and I are planning on making it this year. What is the procedure for those who are bringing a camper trailer? Do we make reservations with the park, or just let you know?

Just let us know. We have the group site reserved and we have to keep up with who is in each of the ten available sites inside the group facility. We will post a list of who needs one of the spaces. I know Myself, Red Dragon, Crewsn, and Matap will need one so far. Kenny also uses one of the spaces if it is available. That leaves 5 spaces with power and water. There is no sewer available. You can dump your tanks on the way out or use a portable dump tank. :thumbup:

We have a shower house and bathrooms that are for our group only. That way you can limit how much you have to use your trailers bathroom.

Our schedule is pretty open...we can show up almost anytime. You planning on going Thursday evening?

yeah, I know its a few hours drive and wouldn't mind showing up Thurs. night so I can just be there already and wake up there Friday morning. Not sure what the reservationa are though, if it includes Thursday night. I most likely won't leave Katy until 6 thursday evening and of course be night driving and get there around 9 at best and 10 at worst assumming nothing goes wild on us.

It is just a 2 night (F,Sa), 3 day event this year because of the low turn-out. :redcard:

I will not be there until extremely late Friday or wee hours 1-2AM Sat. because of a Friday track meet. :couch:

I am sure you could set something up for going down Thursday, but make sure you get with Randy or the park. Maybe you could pay the park for Thursday night, either way you want to do it ahead of time as they close up at a certain time and you have to have a code to get in.

We don't have the park until Friday afternoon. Because of low turn out we decided to drop Thursday. You might be able to get a spot with the park for Thursday night and move over to the Turkey Roost area Friday afternoon. You can go to reserve.gov and look for Cedar Ridge Belton,Texas to get the info. :thumbup:

It's funny how these things snowball. For several years these VTX ralleys were just a thing I did on the bike to get away and ride, (bike & tent). Then I brought the kids,(little truck & tent). Then my wife came with us, (little truck, bike, bike trailer, tent), That trip set the stage for the next one, (big truck, travel trailer, little truck, bike trailer, my bike, kids bikes,). There is no way it will ever go back to just me on my bike. Planning on what to take depends on who is up for the trip. It's not that I have a problem with bringing anyone who wants to come, its all the stuff that it takes to keep them all happy.
I may just take off alone on the bike, and let the wife and kids sort it all out.

All is well, I'm in my 20th week (of 24) of Honda training, then 12 weeks of BMW. Enjoying the wonderful weather here in Phoenix. And I will be at BBT.

Usually there is a set rate for the weekend and it is divided by the # of attendees. Not sure if they are still running it that way or not. Maybe someone more knowledgable and up to date can chime in.
Guesstimate: 450. rental by 20 people = 22.50. It includes elect., pavilion, camp and rv sites, showers and bathrooms and lots'a room. Be sure and bring Mardi gras style beads... you never know!

We will be splitting $350 this year since it is Friday, Saturday, and leaving on Sunday.

Just got word last night that we will be gone for fire dept training that weekend. So Randy please remove our request for a RV spot. If anything changes we will check back with you to see if there is still an opening.

Riding..........planning for a late May early June to Colorado Springs. The wife got a free hotel stay in selected hotels and one of them happen to be in CO Springs. We're just basing it around that free 3 day 2 night stay and probably staying a day or so more.

Oh no, we are going to be there longer. We just have a choice of a hotel to stay at for 2 nights free. We are going to book a few extra nights as well.

It does not look like we will make it this year. I could be wrong, but I don't see how Vanessa will be up to traveling by then. I hope there is a decent turn out and that everyone is safe and has a good time. If the turn out is not enough, it could be the end to this event. We made it home from the 'Turkey Roost', passed-out watching basketball and golf...we awoke 4 hours later.
Wow, it was great to see everyone and had an awesome time. But there is gonna be a rematch in washers with two dudes and they know who they are!!!
Everyone that didn't make it sure did miss a great time. It was great to finally meet Snake, Earl and their wives & see Chad for a few (hope you got the leak fixed). Hopefully everyone made it home safe...looking forward to seeing everyone at BBT.
