I found this on the internet. Asking $6000 OBO. Do y'all think it's worth the asking price?

Unless it has a billion gajillion miles on it I would think so. I have seen 2 wheel VTX's going for 4-6K so that is likely below list. Maybe some more experienced VTX'ers will chime in with actual facts and knowledge.
-
It's a 2002 with approx 19,000 miles on it.
-
The trike conversion alone would be $6K. I would say it's probably worth if you've been looking for a trike or have thoughts on converting your current into a trike.

That's what I am thinking. I'm looking for a compromise so I can please the wife without having to quit riding. Since I am on blood thinners & such, and I just had my hernia surgery, my wife really worries about me laying my bike down. Also, she doesn't like to ride with me because she says it's to rough sitting over the back tire. Maybe something like this would change her mind?
The only draw back is that it doesn't have a reverse on it. Heck, I haven't seen one offered for any VTX trike kit.

Looks good , looks like a motor trike kit . Give it a test ride , and check it out .

I see people trying to sell they junk for way more than that, that trike looks good.

I sent another email yesterday. So far, no reply to it either.

Could be one of two things. A scammer, likely but that bike is kind of random for a scammer or he simply just sold it and it's easier to ignore your email then to take time and remove posting and reply back.

I'm figuring the later but isn't that the way everything is going, do what is easiest not what is right. It is listed on Cycle Trader so I reported it to the site.

I got a reply on Tuesday. The guy thought he had it sold. It's back on the market. Now, to figure out when I would have the time to go check it out!!!!!!
