Yup we're up by McKinney North high school since November.  Going to the dark side took a great deal of meditation and isolation prior to deciding.  That or no time or money since buying the new house.  That sounds great Brad.  Nothing that resembles specific plans other than a late breakfast at Bill's and riding awhile.  We've got time to figure it out.  Hey hobo.  We're gonna miss BBT again this year.  We're doing ROT and the two are just too close together for me to get time to do both.  I'm diggin the dark side.  Ever notice the ones fussin about it are those who haven't done it?  I guess they must publish all the stories of the thousands who die a horrible, firey death running on a car tire somewhere else cuz I've never seen one.  Probably the same place they publish the stories of the thousands who go to the dark side and then go back to mc tires.  Can't find them either.  Can't remember if that's inductive or deductive but.......  See ya'll in the wind.

Hey Studdog, Glad your out of captivity now, who paid the ransom? When's the house warming blow out at your new place? Oh I see how this is, your ashammed of your motor scooter ridin trash buddies.  :D :D That's the real reason you disappeared for awhile in hopes nobody would come over and and give your new neighbors the wrong impression of y'all.  ;D ;D
Hope you decide to swing by Snuffer's Sunday, will be good to see ya.
I've got a friend that went to the dark side on his Valkie and it's a 205/55/16 that is not a goodyear tripple tread but close to the same tread design. The neat thing about the tire he got it's not as flat in the middle and has more rounded edges at the side walls. It's called a Falcon or something such as that. I've got about 7 to 8,000 miles left on my avon so by mid July I'm lookin into that one.
Take care

Didn't know there was an option. When Iceman set it up, it was for Sunday.

Hey Hooter.  Believe me, if all my biker buddies showed up at the new house, my neighbors' opinions of me would skyrocket.  I don't really get it.  I'm a delightful fellow but they don't seem to cotton to me.  The real reason ya'll haven't been there yet is that we bought a foreclosure.  Great house and great price.  Paint colors uglier than a bushel of assholes.  Miss Angela insists we at least get the downstairs painted prior to entertaining an august group such as the Texas X Riders.

I looked at the Falken tires.  I really didn't notice that much difference in profile just by eyeballing it.  All in all I think one is about the same as another. I'm thinking that to dial it in probably has more to do with air pressure than anything else.  I started out at 36 psi and it feels great.  I'll move it a couple pounds back and forth just to check it out.  But I love it first rattle out of the box.

We are definitely making it to Snuffers Sunday.  Fixin to hit Bill's for a late breakfast and find some back roads to ride over to Rockwall.  Cya there.

Sorry gentelmen, you too Chad, but I got a new Great Dane yesterday and didn't realize how tall he was until when I went out this morning and he had his head laying on the top rail of my fence. I figured it would be better use of my time to extend the top of the fence than ride and come home and look for my dog. Sorry I didn't make it cause I was keally looking forward to it.

Here's the dog next to my X to let you know what I'm dealing with.
