Thanks David......

I added retro bars to my C and since I have 6" risers, it didn't work out so well. Things are just too tight. If you find them, let me know, I will be happy to pay you for them. Until I get this fixed I won't be doing much riding but I have to get it fixed before the rally.  :o

Bill, I don't know if the retro risers will work or not.  If they will I have a set.

Pat David...

I sure appreciate all the effort. I have to get my truck out of the shop tonight and it just so happens the guy that's been working on it today use to own an Indian. Anyway, after I got my bike back together yesterday I took it for a test ride to his house. By the time I got there I had my mind made up that I couldn't ride the thing like it is because in 7 miles, both hands were asleep from the angle my wrist had to be in to hold the bars.
Well, he had already cleared his schedule for me so I couldn't beg off. But, he took one look at my cable problem and suggested I put the cables back on the left side of the frame and then run them behind the fork. This would give slack for the left turns and plus give room for the cables to avoid getting crimped on the hard right turns.
He is finished with my truck, so, I wil probably tear back into my bike tomorrow night and if the cable relocation doesn't work, I'll give you a sgout Pat and see if the retro risers will work. If that doesn't work David I'll ask you to send yours. Of course I expect to pay for however it works out. I really want to keep my 6 inch risers if I can. Aside from the wrist problem the set up really lets me lay back and relax. If I can lower the bars from ape hanger position that should help my wrist problem.

I said alllllllllll that to say thanks to you both and I hope I havn'tput you to any trouble.
