7" Adaptive LED Headlight
« on: April 07, 2017, 06:49:23 AM »

This thing lights up on the side when you lean into corners.  JW Speaker came out with this a couple of years ago and wanted $799, this one is a Funlight off Aliexpress for $102 but a week after I ordered it the price went to $149.99.  Either way, it works pretty good.  This will be on the bike at the BBT.  I am not sure what size the VTX takes but if not 7" maybe good info for the Hardley guys.  :c

How far could you possible lean that that becomes necessary? or how hard are you turning that the headlight already isn't turning into it.

Kind of sounds like the guys that would bash the road glide guys  and ask how do you see around the corners if the headlights don't turn....:boxing:....uh, maybe the same way I drive my car.

But whatever Scott......it's still cool.......Oh and I have Daymakers, hence the word DAYMAKER,  it makes the night DAY....boom.......mic dropped.

be aware of the cheap a/m LED or HID lights.  you may find yourself stuck at night some where....   there is a reason the real deal HID/LED lights cost as much as they do and the a/m cost a small fraction of the cost.

While cheaper than the JW Speaker, this is a very well made light.  The difference in the price is the adaptive mechanism and not the actual CREE LED bulbs.  The LED light part is really good and one of the reasons I got this one.  The adaptive part is just a gimmick add-on.  That being said, I head you and do most of my riding during the day.  If this shaking/vibrating Harley can't break it in a few weeks I think I will be good to go.
