Tourists Attraction Ride - Thursday
« on: February 12, 2019, 10:40:25 AM »

I put the route into Harley Ride Planner so you can download a GPX if you are interested.  It's an all day ride for sure especially with all the stops.  Should be a lot of good photo opportunities. Me and my guest will be doing this on Thursday, anyone is welcome to come.  I am saving the sisters for Friday and have no idea what I am doing Saturday...maybe a brewery tour!

Saved it in my ride planner.

I'll run it through my Garmin and make sure there are no surprises.  If there are I'll clean it up and let you know.  Luckily there aren't a lot of alternate routes out there so strategically placed waypoints work pretty well.  With the old Harley GPS it created separate routes for each "destination" so I had to change them all to waypoints.  I am not sure what the new Boom Box GTS does.  I should have tested it before i changed it all to waypoints.  I will probably have a chance to load a route before BBT, if I can I prefer to have multiple destinations on the same route so I know when I am coming up to something and not just a dot on a map.

There are at least 2 gas stops on this route too.  I always plan for at least one VTX1800.

I think I have been down that road.  Didn't you follow me one time while I was riding the Sportster?

I have no idea what roads you were riding on and that was like 3 years ago.
