Flying L Ranch
« on: February 05, 2019, 03:51:23 PM »

Has anyone ever stayed there?  It's like 2 miles from the Pioneer RV Park and I needed a place with at least 2 rooms due to one of my guest privacy requirements.  They look nice, just never stayed there or even been there.  How do they compare to River Front?

I personally have not but I do remember speaking with a guy that stayed a few years back and really liked it especially at night because it's off the beaten path.  Matter of fact the road that place is on we take to do our Wednesday Medina Lake lunch.

Medina Lake lunch?  I don't think I will be there early enough for that one.  We will be at steak night though.

Medina Lake lunch?

Yeah. We have done it the past 2 years.  It's pretty nice.  Hosted Sandwich lunch by Texas X Riders.  There is a really nice spot that doesn't cost a thing and very little traffic.  Definitely worth going if at all possible.  It's about a 30-40 minute ride from the RV park.

Our ride in will put us in Bandera between 2 and 4 depending on stops and lunch, etc.  We could leave earlier but I am not interested in dealing with morning traffic so leaving around 8-9.

No problem.  Stop by the RV for a cold one when you show up.
